Vibe Tycoon: Idle Startup
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
No account, no server of our own
The app does not create user accounts and has no backend server of its own. Gameplay progress (balance, owned units, agents, upgrades, prestige history) is stored locally on your device and is never sent to a developer-operated server.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows optional rewarded video ads via Google AdMob — a button you choose to tap, with the reward named before the ad starts. Ads never play automatically and are not offered until you have hired your first agent.
To serve and measure these ads, Google's AdMob SDK may process: a device advertising identifier, coarse (IP-derived) location, ad interaction data, and diagnostic/performance/crash data. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Every ad request asks for non-personalized ads, and the app does not request permission to track you across other apps or websites (no App Tracking Transparency prompt), so your advertising identifier is not used for cross-app ad targeting. For users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a Google-provided consent form (UMP) is shown before any ad request.
Purchases (Apple App Store)
Optional purchases — a one-time "Supporter" unlock and "Time Skip" consumables — are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The app reads the product identifier, localized price, and your purchase/entitlement status from the App Store to unlock the corresponding feature. The developer does not receive or store your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs the purchase transaction itself.
Purchase records (RevenueCat) — version 2.1.1 and later
From version 2.1.1, the app uses RevenueCat to validate App Store receipts and to give the developer aggregate purchase and revenue reports. Each time the app starts, it contacts RevenueCat's servers, whether or not you have ever bought anything: RevenueCat generates an anonymous app user identifier (not your name, email or Apple ID) and receives basic device and app information such as OS version, app version, country/storefront and IP address. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat additionally receives the purchase record from the App Store (product, price, currency, date, transaction identifiers).
This data is linked only to that anonymous identifier, is not used to track you across other apps or websites, and is not sold. RevenueCat processes it under its own privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy. RevenueCat never processes gameplay progress.
Notifications
If you turn on the optional Offline Reminder in Settings, the app schedules a local notification on your device. Nothing about it is sent to any server, and it is off unless you turn it on.
On-device data
- Gameplay progress, purchase entitlement cache, and settings are kept in a local save file.
- Deleting the app removes this local data.
- A "Supporter" purchase can be restored via Restore Purchases (tied to your Apple ID); gameplay progress itself is not restored by this and is not backed up by the developer.
What this app does not do
No user accounts, no gameplay analytics or behavioral tracking SDK, no cross-app tracking, no sale of personal data, and no data collection beyond the Google AdMob/UMP ad stack and the RevenueCat purchase records described above.
